The point to note for packaging chilled food

The chilled food is controlled and distributed in the optimum temperature zone for each food, which is normally from 0 to +10℃. Packaging by machine is the mainstream as the packaging by human power makes it difficult to keep the temperature and moreover the bacteria or virus may be contaminated in the packing process.

●Sausage

Sausage is one of the processed food that requires very strict sanitary management.The parts that the product passes through during the packaging process must have a mechanical structure that can always be kept clean, such as allowing parts to be removed and washed. Easy maintenance, workability, and high reproducibility are also key points for packaging machines.

●Cut vegetable

As the cut vegetable contain a lot of moisture, stainless steel-made machine, which is more resistant to rust than iron, is suitable.Vegetables lose their freshness easily, so it is necessary to take measures such as shortening the time required for packaging and using a freshness-preserving film that suppresses spoilage and discoloration.

●Shrreded cheese

If even a small amount of oxygen remains in the packaging bag, the cheese tends to mold, so the packaging is filled with an inert gas such as nitrogen.
