Unique Packaging Forms
Since its founding in 1944, Tokyo Automatic Machine Works, Ltd. (TAM) has been highly trusted by a large number of customers by making full use of its advanced technical capabilities, mainly in packaging machinery, to install and operate customers’ machinery. Starting with our main product, cigarette packaging machines, our machines are used in a wide range of fields: film packaging for caramel and chocolate, paper packaging for specialty products and gifts, accumulated film packaging for toilet rolls and kitchen towels, and production machines custom-made for our customers.
By applying the technical skills we have fostered through our packaging machinery, we have developed coffee and detergent filling machines and boxing machines. We have also presented for the first time in Japan new packaging forms such as machine production of tear tapes, attaching handles to box tissues, and the Wide Top Bag.
We have highly skilled employees in our service center, which also provides after-sales follow-up, maintenance, and repairs. We are also actively working on environmental issues and contributing to resource recycling by manufacturing balers that compress and pack waste, including paper, aluminum, and plastic bottles.
