Since it is the nutrient for animals, the product contains a lot of ingredients. The sodium-based ingredient especially could oxidize the machine parts and induce rust, so the special attention must have been paid with the machine materials. The powders are fine particle with good flowability and easy to fly up. Because it easily liquefies when it absorbs moisture, the filling method and temperature control was essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About Filling Machine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
When the powders are fine powder, we normally select a short auger for auger screw. However, supplying the powder from the above in the filling process the powders may fly up and it causes contamination between the sealing. Therefore, we chose a long auger, and set the clearance between the funnel and auger wider so as not to make damage due to the powder tangle.<\/p>\n\n\n

For the commonly distributed powder, the appropriate type of auger is chosen from our records and experiences. But for the project with difficulty level, we test in the laboratory with using the actual powder that is supplied by the customer for making the feasible best proposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our target of filling accuracy is \u00b11g for under 100g, \u00b11\uff05 for 100g or above for aiming to contribute the customer\u2019s loss-costing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The filler is equipped a feedback system as optional which, functions by linking with the post process check weigher to adjust automatically the higher\/lower limit of target weight on the filler side against the actual weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The augers of Tam are all manufactured in Japan and some kind of auger is made from round bar material by cutting out in our factory. In addition, strict precision adjustments are carried out by skilled craftsmen in the manufacturing process.<\/p>\n\n\n

Vertical form-fill-seal machine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
As the product contains sodium, we chose the stainless steel for the frame and the covers for rust prevention. In addition, special surface coating on the aluminum castings of the vertical sealing and end sealing unit are applied to prevents the powder dust from accumulating (improve slipperiness) for the cleaning purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coating<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
High-performance complex coating process between that enhances abrasion resistance, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mechanical options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
As the mechanical options for VFFS machine, the following devices have been added to prevent contamination in the seal and prevent fine particles from entering the precision equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Measurement for contamination-1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n- Static Elimination<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Packaging material will have static electricity by frictional resistance. The Static eliminator fall off the fine powders those are attached to the film by ionizer so as to prevent the powder contamination in the seal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Measurement for contamination -2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n- Product Catcher<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
The contamination happens when the powder enters to the area of heat-sealing. The product catcher that is mounted above the end-sealing unit closes just before the end-sealing bars are closed, so it prevents the powder dust fall from above entering the sealing area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
