Packaging Styles "Wide-top Bag®"
We at TAM are constantly working to create innovative and functional packaging solutions, especially ones that can be used in our Vertical Form-Fill-Seal Machines and Overwrapping Machines, so we can present them to customers as new product proposals. Here, we are presenting an example of one real-life story, involving our Wide-top Bag, as testimony to our commit to developing new packaging styles.
"Wide-top Bag®"
Our Wide-top Bags® are a new style of packaging solution that allows your products to stand out. They create a high level of appeal in terms of their product display features. In addition, they are designed so that the contents in the bags can be taken out much more easily. And with a zipper added as an option, the bag can be reopened and closed, providing an added function and an additional level of convenience.
We succeeded in making your products stand out and making product dispensing easier
In order to make products stand out and create a more attractive product display, bags used in vertical form-fill-seal machines generally are shaped with gusset and block bottom. However, there is an inherent problem when bags having gussets and block bottoms; namely the size of their openings end up being small and narrow, making it difficult to dispense the products contained within the bags. Our solution to the problem is our Wide-top Bag®. The technique we came up with was to make the shape of the opening like the one on a flat bag but to fold the bottom toward the outside.
We repeatedly did testing through trial and error, experimenting with new engineering ideas and technology, so as to give "shape" to the functional outside fold design. We did this until we finally succeeded in commercializing our Wide-top Bag®.
